Abstract

This article examines creativity as a neurocognitive and interpretative process that integrates neural networks, executive functions, imagination, language, and cultural mediations. The objective is to analyze, in light of Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, and philosophical hermeneutics, the foundations of the cognitive process of creativity and its implications for contemporary teacher training. It argues that creativity emerges from the dynamic coordination between the generation of associations, reflective evaluation, and reorganization of meanings, configuring itself as interpretative cognition that supports understanding, decision-making, and pedagogical authorship. The articulation between neurobiological mechanisms and hermeneutic practices shows that teaching work involves continuous movements of interpretation of experience, curriculum, and school contexts. It is argued that investigative curricula, reflective experiences, and responsive cultural environments broaden the creative and interpretative capacity of teachers. It concludes that creativity constitutes a central formative principle, integrating the cognitive, ethical, and epistemological dimensions of teaching.
