Science teachers' understandings about the process of producing educational videos

Aiming to understand the process of producing educational videos by science teachers by making educational videos available on YouTube. This article presents a look at the pedagogical action of teachers, especially in science, in the production of videos and their sharing on YouTube. In this sense, it is based on the approach of qualitative research [...]. As an analysis methodology, the Collective Subject Speech (DSC) was used to understand, in their speeches, the thought of this collective of teachers. With the operation of the technique, the speech entitled "Production of videos to share knowledge" was elaborated, which denotes some of the pedagogical intentions of the teachers when planning the content, produce the videos, and above all, the motivations of teachers when migrating to platforms such YouTube, to reach different geographic spaces and social contexts.
